I can't believe that he is already 4 months old..Time flys when you are having fun. Here is what he was at his check up.

Wow! has it been awhile since I posted..Life at our house has been super crazy. I will have to get some pictures up from the 4th and some others of our fun family adventures that we have had this summer so far..
The 4th was so much fun. We headed down to Skyler's parents early that morning to have breakfast that their ward. We then headed to my parents to have a bbq and just hang out. On our way home we stopped and got some fireworks and did them with the neighbors. Drake loved them, I thought as a concered mother I should cover his ears...well bad idea he just got mad..he loved the bright flashing lights and the sounds. The next weekend (11-13) we headed up to Bear Lake...something I have looked forward to every year for the past 4 years. When my grandma married my grandpa (hugh) 3 years ago..we went the year before they were married, It has been like a family reunion for all of the kids..it is so much fun. We get waverunners on the Saturday and play at the beach all day...Drake didn't love the water so much...like I said I will upload some pictures soon!
This past couple of weeks as you can somewhat tell have been super crazy for us at the Hardman home. From church callings to releases, trek, getting ready for Cali, buying a new car, and working. One busy month for us. Skyler got released from the Young Men's and this past week was put in as the execitive secertary in the bishopric. He is so excited to be able to serve with such a great group of men. It will for sure keep him busy and I don't know he will be able to handle 6:30 meetings on Sundays..but with the Lord's help he will be just fine...I was lucky enough to NOT have to go to Trek, due to having Drake I got out of it..but they just left this morning at 1, had a fireside that I attended last night at the Stake Center. I was wishing that I could have gone, I am mad at myself for not going when I was 17, I was a subborn brat about it...The spirit was so strong at the Fireside I could only image what it will be like on the trials.
I am keeping pretty busy..we are headed out tomorrow to Cali for about a week and half. I will post some pictures when I get back of all our fun adventures we have endured this past month....
Yesterday was Drake's first day at the pool. My sisters and I headed over to Layton Surf N' Swim. When we first got there around 12 noon, Bluffridge Elem 5th graders where there for a swim day, thought it might be a little crazy. But we were lucky that it really wasn't too bad. It was fun to spend the day at the pool with my sisters..I love them, they are so good to Drake.. Skyler was being so cute about the swimming pool expierence he kept telling me, make sure he has enough sunscreen on and isn't in the sun long. I told him Skyler don't worry I am his mother and he will be just find. He called and asked what we were up to. I told him that Drake was asleep. He said is he in the shade and does he have enough shade? It was so cute. I knew that Skyler would have loved to be there with us. But daddy had to work..Hopefully he can go with us next time.

Look at my shades..wasn't too sure about the day!I didn't post anything on Father's Day, so I thought I would write and talk a little about my hubby Skyler! Skyler got to have his first Father's day as a REAL DAD!!! He is such a good daddy to Drake. Before Drake was born, I was a little worried only because when he would hold other peoples kids he always thought that they didn't like him and he was scared to hold them for fear he would drop them. But the day Drake was born his daddy instinct kicked in. Skyler went with the nurses to the nursery, while I was getting stiched up. He got to give Drake his first bath. My father-in-law came into the labor room after I was done and told me that Skyler has the touch and he was going to be a GREAT father. That really hit me hard, to know that my Father in Heaven has blessed me with a husband that is going to care of my children and myself the way Skyler does.
Skyler has always been there for me, no matter what! I love him with all my heart and want him to know what a great person he is..I may not tell him all the time how much I love and care about him but I do...He means EVERYTHING to me. With out him I would not be who I am today.. I love you honey and hope you had a GREAT Father's Day!!

Thank you for always being there to feed me and be my buddy. I love watching tv with you. Thank you for loving my mommy the way you do. I hope that I can be just like you when I grow up. Thanks again for being MY DADDY!!

It's been a hard past week for me. I have gone back to work after having about 12 1/2 weeks off after having little Drake. Those 12 weeks were the best of my entire life. I never thought that you could love someone the way that I love him. I find that I just stare at him all day long.
It has been nice knowning that Riley (my little sister) is at home watching him durning the day. Work is going ok, as good as it could be for me right now. I do love that I am getting to have ADULT time with the ladies I work with..I love those ladies, and my boss is the best.
Well, I will be posting some pictures sometime this weekend. I am going to get his 3 month pictures done today, I hope they turn out ok..
