*Thanksgiving*

As I sit here today thinking about all things I am Thankful for there is so much that I am Thankful for this day. I am so Thankful for the gospel in my life, and what it teaches me everyday. I am Thankful for a Husband you loves me and provides for me and our son. He always wants us to have the best and loves both of us. I am so blessed to be a mom, what a great blessing Drake has brought into our home. He is learning all the time. What a blessing it is to have a little perfect person to wake up to every morning, who is always so happy and full of life. I don't know what my life would be like without him. Drake you mean so much to your mom and dad and we love you..
I am grateful for my job, and for Skylers job and the opportunities that they bring to us each day. I am so grateful for our home that we have to live in, the food that we eat and a bed to sleep in. I am also very grateful for FAMILY this time of year. Skyler and I have been very blessed with such great families. I just want to Thank my MOM for all that she does for us. I just want her to know how much I love her, I look up to her so much and truly call her one of my BEST FRIENDS. She is always there to listen and have a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with and just talk. Thank you MOM for all you do for me..Drake Loves his grandma too..I am also grateful for FRIENDS, who are there when you need them. I am grateful for my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ and for all that they have done so that I can live on this earth today. I am so Thankful for a living Prophet who leads and guides our church.
There is much more that I am so grateful for, but I don't bore you all with it all. I hope everyone can have a great THANKSGIVING...

1. Where were you when you first found out you when you found out you were pregnant? Wendy's in Bountiful...crazy I know!
2. Who was with you? No one..I guess the people in the line afterwards..
3. What was your first reaction? Shocked..excited
4. What was your husband's reaction? Are you Serious?? Really??
5. Who was the first person you told? Celeste at work..I made her look at the test after I got back from lunch to reasure me it was true.
6. Were the pregnancies planned? Yes

14. Who or what got on your nerves the most? hmm...I don't really remember..how bad is that!
15. Where were you when you went into labor? I was in the hospital...got started 10 days early..Thank you Dr.Hall
16. Did you have any complications? just my gallbladder the whole time I was pregnant..ended up having it out 6 weeks after Drake was born.
17. Did your water break? Sure did, thanks to Dr.Hall again
18. Who drove you to the hospital? Skyler
19. Did you go early or late? Early 10 days
20. Who was in the room? Skyler...Nate the juice man...Dr.Hall..Dr.Bitner...and some handfull of nurses..
21. Did you video tape it? we were going to..taped up until C-section.
22. Did you have any pain medication? Heck Yeah! Once my water was broken I wanted the epidural, but they made me have labor for 4 hours before they would give it to me, because I was started
23. Did you have a c-section or natural? C-section
24. What was your reaction to the birth? Best thing ever...I was sad I didn't get to see him until like 3 hours after I had him..but so worth it.
25. How big was the baby? 7lbs 11oz and 21 inches long
26. Did your husband cry? No...he I think was very overwhelmed by it all.
27. When is the next one coming? not sure...we want them like 2 or so years apart..give me a little bit to enjoy this one..he is only 7 months old..
28. If you could would you do it all over again? YES!!! I loved being pregnant and loved all of it...

Dad's Birthday

Well, This post is a little past due, but I thought I would still post these...
My dad's birthday was Sept 26, and for his b-day my mom got him flight lesson in a helicoptor..thats right he got to help fly..I think he really liked it. I was fun to see him act just like a little boy!! Then after we went to dinner to Famous Daves..Drake loved the Ice cream that Grandma was giving him...Happy Bithday day!! We know you had a great day!! We love you!!

Roseola

This past week has been crazy...Skyler and I are getting ready to leave for Jackson Hole, and Sunday I noticed that Drake had a little rash around his belly. Great I thought to myself...I didn't really think to much about it, thought it might be just a diaper rash..I just kept watching it throughout the day. Drake has been sick with a runny nose for like a month, I thought it was just because he is getting more teeth(has 5 now and only 7 months old)..So I took him to the sitters on Thrusday. Cindy and I both just thought the same thing, I didn't want him there if he was going to get everyone else sick, Cindy told me he was fine. So the rash got worse by Sunday night..I told Skyler if it isn't gone by the morning I have to get him in the to Dr. We Woke up Monday morning, the rash was worse..on his head, his back, eye. I called Cindy told her he would not be coming until I found out what was going on. Called the Dr's office right at 7 am, got Drake a Dr appointment for 9:15..called my mom and told her I didn't know what to do with Drake because Skyler and I both had to be to work before 8..she said she would come over and then I would meet her at the Dr's for his appointment..
The Dr. looks at him and says,"I have seen alot of ROSEOLA going around right now"..ok, what HECK is that. I said to him...oh just a virus, but he isn't contagious anymore..he was before, but not now that he has the rash..Oh Great! I called Cindy, told her he wasn't contagious anymore and if any of the other kids get a rash that is what it is..I felt soooooo bad, she told me not to worry it happens..But needless to say I'm a terrible mother and didn't take any pictures of it...but it's a virus and you can't do much about it..
I thought Skyler and I weren't going to be able to go to Jackson, But we are...we are getting ready to leave today...We hope all is going well and we love you all!!

~Drake 6 Months~

I can't believe that Drake is already 6 months...He has become such a big boy..learning new things everyday. He has found his voice, and it is so fun to listen to him talk. Drake is such a happy baby, Skyler and I have been very blessed..We thank our Father in Heaven every day for such a great little miracle in our lives. I am so Grateful that he would instrust me with one of his most precious things..Enjoy!! We love you Drake!!

While I was gone to Young Women's tonight, Skyler did some yearbook picture thing online...He called and said I have a surprise for you when you get home..Don't look at the Computer...So, This is what I came home to...What a dork...Gotta love him!!

My Loving Husband

WOW!! Do I have a great husband or what. On Monday, August 25 I had to take Drake to Ms.Cindy's house for the first time(daycare). It was hard to go into work that day after leaving my baby with someone else to take care of him. I managed NOT to cry...(go me)..I was going about my day at work. When I got back from lunch, I was helping a patient and I heard the door open, went up to the front and there was 2 guys standing there with some roses. I said ooooo, who is getting flowers? The one guy said to me.."we have a delivery for Morgan Hardman". I thought what the heck who sent me flowers? My first thought and don't ask me why I thought this, but I thought well maybe they are from my boss...he knew I was having a hard time...but then I said to myself...why the heck would he send them to me...so I took the flowers from the guys and went for the card...starting reading, put the card down (starting to cry), my patient that I was helping in the back was waiting for me....I thought well I can't read this now I will cry..go back and help that guy and come back....So I did...
Needless to say..I was doing great about NOT crying..until my hubby decided to send me flowers and tell me how much he and drake love me..So yes I did cry...and all the ladies at work were jealous...haha ladies I love ya...Skyler, Thank you for being the BEST HUSBAND IN THE WORLD....I LOVE YOU!!!

~5 months of Joy~

I know I'm a little late at posting that Drake is 5 months..but I thought it would be fun to just show how much our little guy has grown in the past 5 months..I can't believe how big he is getting..I love you Drake!!

*Growing so fast*

Drake is now 5 months, and getting so big..His first tooth broke though yesterday,it's a sharp little bugger. Come Monday he will start going to Ms.Cindy's house on Mondays and Thursdays. I hope it's not going to be to hard for me to take him there, but Cindy assured me that it's ok to cry.....It has been such a blessing finding a babysitter for him...many prayers I tell ya, temple visits...I mean you don't just want to leave your children with just anyone these days...On Wednesday,Sky and I with Drake headed to Cindy's house to meet her. What a nice lady, cute home and the other kids are so cute there to...There will only be one little girl there with about 5 or 6 boys...poor little sarah.
I just wanted to take a little time and Thank my little sister Riley...She has no idea how grateful I have been for her being able to watch Drake this summer.. I know it is going to be hard for her to go back to school. But, Riley..you have NO IDEA how much Skyler and I love you..and we are so grateful that you would even be willing to take a summer out of your life to take care of our little guy. Even though he is your nephew..Drake loves you so much, you have seen first that I haven't seen as his own mother..I will miss the pictures that you would send to me during the day, that made it so much easier to be at work, knowing someone that LOVED him as much as I do was at my house taking care of him...I know he is going to miss his aunty ri. We love you Riley..Good luck with school!!

California Baby!!

Wow!! Did we ever have fun on our trip.. We went with my family.We left Tuesday July 22 at 6 am..yes it was early. I was a little worried how Drake would do on the airplane it was his first time flying. He was so good, didn't cry once. He slept..We flew into Long Beach, rented a car with the family and off we took to drive about 2 hours to Indio. It was only like 108 degrees when we got there..(Indio is about 30 mins or so from Palm Springs) We drove around Indio because our condo wasn't ready for us yet. It is such a pretty place, everything is green and they keep it very very nice. We decided about 3:30 we would go see if the condo was ready for us..and sure enough it was...and we all walked in we couldn't believe how nice it was...(there are some pictures below) My dad said to us all, "This is not your 12,000 pointer, this is your 20,000 pointer", and wow it was nice.
On Thursday the 24th, we headed to Palm Springs to Knott's soak city for the day... My dad the night before got on their website and rented us a cabana for the day, boy were we glad he did that. It was about 110 degrees, you had to wear your flip flops EVERYWHERE you went because the ground was so hot. It was so much fun..they have this tube ride and it is like a toilet bowl effect. Skyler and my sisters talked me into going on it..there are 4 people to a tub, or you can have 2. While we were standing in line as I was watching others come out into the bowl, I asked the girls in front of us, " Am I going to die?" They just laughed and said no, but you don't want to go down backwards, because there is a vertical drop. Oh great! I thought to myself..and sure enough I went down BACKWARDS, down a 37 foot vertical drop..needless to say I screamed like a baby all the way down..I jumped out of the tub as fast as I could(scracthed my knee)and walked out of the pool.. My sister Amber said to me," You looked like you were going to cry, I couldn't even enjoy it, but I did have fun." I just laughed and said I will NEVER do that again. Well, I didn't but they did and they took my dad(big guy) they made it all the way on the top of the bowl where the water comes out (SCARY)..

We did some good shopping for a few days, and chilled at the condo. Got some sun!! Overall we had a blast and wished we could go back..oh and we survived the LA qwake of '08......hope all is going well with everyone... Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us go with you...We love you!!
