~Us Lately~

Drake has found the shower in our basement bathroom downstairs and loves to play in it. Here are some pictures of him having a great time!!

Friday night Drake stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Petes while mommy and daddy went to a friends house for a bbq. Saturday morning Grandma called and said " I think he has croup, he has a really bad cough and is having a hard time breathing." I just had to laugh, only because EVERYTIME, well it seems like everytime he sleeps at my mom's on the weekend, she seems to call us either in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning letting us know that he is throwing up, has a fever, or hadn't slept at all. So I called Tanner Clinic Urgent Care(p.s. I refuse to go to WEE CARE), got him an appointment at 1:30...it came about 12 and I called and said can I just bring him now, I was tired of just waiting. They told me if you could come now then head over, so I took their offer. We waited about 30 mins or so to get back, but when we got back there the Dr came in and looked at Drake. The poor kid had ANOTHER sinus infection that instead of draining out of his nose, was going down to his lungs. So good thing we got him in when we did, it could have gotten worse. We were sent home with prescirptions to get filled. Drake is so cuddly when he is sick and I love it...I got these cute pictures of Drake and Skyler just hanging out watching a movie together.. Lets hope that those darn sinus infections that his father has past on to him, won't keep coming back...

This Easter, We woke up and saw what the Easter Bunny had brought to our house. Drake got some cars, bubbles, a movie and some clothes. Man that Easter bunny sure knows what to get little kids! We got ready for church (didn't get a pic of Drake in his easter outfit, Terrible mother), chruch was so nice. It is always nice to be reminded of our Savior and what he has done for us. I love him to much and he has blessed my life in ways that I can't even imagine.
We then headed to Great Grandma and Grandpa Kinney's for the aunnal easter egg hunt. Drake got to find his own egg this year(with the help of great grammy). We had such a nice Easter this year. Sorry for picture overload.

As I have looked at our blog the last couple of days, I have noticed that I haven't been doing such a great job at updating. Life has been super busy, but at the same time we haven't been super busy.
We celebrated Drake's 1st Birthday on March 14 and had so many people come and celebrate the day with us. Drake's GREAT GREAT Grandma was even here, he loves Grandma Emma. His birthday was filled of fun, family and games. oh ya and presents!! Sorry picture overload..

Yep! Me and Carli wipped these puppies out in about 3 hours..I love them!! Go us...we can't believe that they are done, and YES we made them!!

I can't believe that our baby is already 1. He is getting so big and so fun. I don't know what we would do if he wasn't in our life. Drake is such a happy boy, and brings so much love into our home. Heavenly Father truly blessed us when he sent him to our life. I hope that we can raise him the right way.

Time flys

Well..I haven't posted for a while, due to the fact that Skyler and I have been trying to get our basement done. In the meantime somethings to get you all updated..Drake is 11 months old now.He is getting so big, crawling ALL over the place and getting into EVERYTHING!! But I still love watching him grow. We have gotten our basement just about finished...(pictures to follow later). We are keeping very busy with our lives. We have been so blessed with great people in our lives. Thanks to all of those who helped us out. We love you all.
