*4th of July*

This year we were able to go the Layton Parade for the 4th. We got to walk from our house this year because parking is unreal for the 4th. We sat and waited for the Parade to start, Drake thought it was pretty cool when he heard the sirens (sp?), he was pointing and oooo every which way. He really loved it. It was fun this year because, he was old enough to kinda get what was going on. He is getting to be the little character these days, always has something to say.

After, the parade we headed over to my parents house to have a BBQ with them and with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Kinney. We love when they come to see us and play for the day! We ate and then had our own Fireworks at my parents house. Drake had a long day and we went home and he was in bed by 8:30. Skyler and I started getting packed for our trip to Tahoe, and then watched the Layton fireworks from our front yard. It was a great 4th this year! I am so gratefull for the men and women serving our country so that we can be free. Thank you to ALL of you who serve this GREAT COUNTRY! ..Drake's new outfit..

Boy, have I slacked on the blogging department. We are on our Vacation to Tahoe! So pictures from the 4th and our Trip will come later.. Know that we are still alive!! Keep checking back to see what we have been up too.

Drake's new Pool

We haven't had to much excitment at our house latley...and when we have, I have forgotten the camera..0oops...
Skyler took last Friday off and Drake brought him the camera and wanted his picture taken and this is what Skyler got...

We bought Drake a pool to play in outside, because he LOVES the WATER so much in the tub, thought he would love the POOL..and we were right..He LOVES the pool! The blue ball is his favorite, he FREAKS out when he sees it and plays with it for HOURS.

Drake is getting so big and teaching us new things. He LOVES to talk!!! Loves to WALK all over the place. He is so funny and makes us laugh everyday. We love him so much!

~Drake's got a NEW ride~

I thought we should get Drake a toy to play with while we are outside..So I remembered I had 2 gift cards from baby showers 13 months+ ago to Toys R Us/ Babies R Us...Thought I would go see what I could find....boy was this a FIND....Regular price $99.99, Sale Price $59.99, gift cards for $5 and $40(which I thought they only had like $5 each), add 1 bouncy ball for $1.79=$19..which to me and Drake was a MUST!!!! Seeing Drake's face when he got on the 4-wheeler=PRICELESS...

*ZoO TimE*

Last Wednesday I decided to take Drake to the zoo. My friend Carli was watching her neices, so I thought I would ask her if she wanted to go with. So we were off to the Zoo...It was such a nice SUNNY day! (I even got sunburned on my arms)....Drake didn't get to much sun even though when we got to the zoo, we had forgotten the SunScreen....Here are some pictures of our Adventure...Thanks Carli, Brinkley and Reese for coming with us!!

~Us Lately~

Drake has found the shower in our basement bathroom downstairs and loves to play in it. Here are some pictures of him having a great time!!

Friday night Drake stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Petes while mommy and daddy went to a friends house for a bbq. Saturday morning Grandma called and said " I think he has croup, he has a really bad cough and is having a hard time breathing." I just had to laugh, only because EVERYTIME, well it seems like everytime he sleeps at my mom's on the weekend, she seems to call us either in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning letting us know that he is throwing up, has a fever, or hadn't slept at all. So I called Tanner Clinic Urgent Care(p.s. I refuse to go to WEE CARE), got him an appointment at 1:30...it came about 12 and I called and said can I just bring him now, I was tired of just waiting. They told me if you could come now then head over, so I took their offer. We waited about 30 mins or so to get back, but when we got back there the Dr came in and looked at Drake. The poor kid had ANOTHER sinus infection that instead of draining out of his nose, was going down to his lungs. So good thing we got him in when we did, it could have gotten worse. We were sent home with prescirptions to get filled. Drake is so cuddly when he is sick and I love it...I got these cute pictures of Drake and Skyler just hanging out watching a movie together.. Lets hope that those darn sinus infections that his father has past on to him, won't keep coming back...
