*Koda*

I just wanted to make a post dedicated to one of my friends little boy, Koda.   I want to help spread the word and help raise awarness for this cute little family. 
 Koda was diagnosed at 23 months old on January 25th 2010 with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

I truly admire Ali & Sam for all they are doing for their little boy. Koda is such a FIGHTER!  The Lord does bless us all in very different ways. I want them to know that there are people standing behind them FIGHTING with them. 

Koda & Drake are the same age, but have never even met.  When Ali told me the news of Koda, I was so heart broken for her and her family. I thought to myself.. How could something like this happen to someone so little and young. If someone told me that about my baby, I don't know what I would do.  But, She is an Amazing MOM, and is trying to look at this is a positive way for her and her family. Knowing at the same time it will probably be one of the HARDEST things she will do.  She is staying positive! She knows that the LORD only gives us TRIALS we can handle even when we don't think we can't do it.  On top of this, she is going to be having a baby GIRL in June. I just really admire her and want to let people know of this.  We are thinking of some ways to help raise money for their family.

Disney on Ice

We took Drake to Disney on Ice for his birthday Wednesday night. It was so much fun to see the JOY on his face when he saw "Queen" . He was glued when 'Hot Dog', Minnie, Donald & 'Oofy' came out on the ice to start the show off! It was definatly a World Of Fantasy!

I can't believe that he is already going to be 2...where does the time go?? I guess it is true when people tell you to ENJOY them while they are babies, cause they do GROW up so FAST!

Having NO engery

I don't know what it is about this pregancy, but I have had NO engery.  I try to make myself do things to keep me going, but it just doesn't seem to work. I am tired ALL the time!! I have LAUNDRY up the ying yang! I feel like I can't keep my house clean (drives me crazy)...I clean it one day and then 5 minutes later it looks like a war just happend..

 I guess all I have to say is that I am healthy, happy, have a husband who is AMAZING! a little boy, who somedays drives me NUTS.. he really is a good kid and I love him so much!  Poor Skyler has had to put up with my NESTING...I have had him doing projects like crazy too..this is what he was doing Saturday

fixing the "hole" in the celing from where the 'swamp cooler' was..now just to take it off the roof!

I know this is a dumb post but I just had to vent a little and this is a good place for me to do this today!

~Little Sister's room~

Getting ready for a GIRL has been so much fun...This is what I did last week on my days off! 

Thank you MOM, for ALL your help with this project! It has been so much fun getting everything ready for our little GIRL to come. She still doesn't have a name, but I'm sure once we see her we will know what we should name her! I'm ready for her to join our family and hold her.
We were looking at pictures of Drake when he was just a baby, and I am ready for another baby to be in our home. It is such a blessing to have something so PERFECT and so close to HEAVEN enter your home and I can't wait for "LITTLE SISTER" to make her enterance.

*St.George*

Every year for last 3 years my mom and sister head to St.George to spend sometime with my Grandma.  The last 2 years Drake and I have tagged along.  We have so much fun, and are so Thankful to Nanna & Great Grandma for letting coming.  I did tell Skyler though next year...MOMMA will be going WITHOUT the kids!!! Don't think he likes that idea too much..

*SurPriSe*

I had my 20 week BIG appointment today! I was so excited to go in make sure everything is going well, for them to tell me baby Boston was healthy. My mom, Drake and Skyler were going to go with me. My mom, Drake and I were there, got checked in and I thought we were going to have to wait. I walked my check-in slip to the box and the ultrasound lady was ready for me. Skyler wasn't there yet! I laid on the table and got all ready.  As the lady was doing the ultrasound she said to me," Do you want me to check the gender?" I told her "YES, that Dr.Hall was 90% sure it was a BOY"  So, she started  back doing her thing. She kinda had a little chuckle in her voice and said " it's not a boy...it's a GIRL!" All I said was "WHAT"(with my hands over my face) I looked at my mom and just started to laugh..
  She checked AGAIN,AGAIN and AGAIN.....sticking with her answer.. When Skyler walked in, I said to him honey Sit down. He just looked at me and said what?  I began to tell him "it's a GIRL!" all he said was "SHUT UP" I just looked at him and said "No, it really is a GIRL!"  As, we both sat there in Shock, the ultrasound tech did her thing. Everything looks GREAT. Baby is developing perfectly.
    So, to our SURPRISE it's a GIRL!  I'm a little overwhelmed and have cried a few tears, not because I'm not happy it's a Girl but because I was so set on having another boy!  We are so Excited for this next little adventure of having a little girl! I just need to relax and stop being such a Planner!
